According to David Blackmore, renowned Australian Wagyu producer, Itoshigenami TF148 is considered to be one of the top three bulls exported from Japan. Producing carcasses of the highest quality, characterized by an abundance of very fine marbling, extremely soft fat with a low temperature melting point.

The dam of this mating, 127, is an ET daughter of one of the rarest sires in the world. Mazda is the only 100% Tottori bull to ever leave Japan. He is the true and only total outcross to almost all Wagyu herds across the world. Kenneth Briggs, former AWA president raised many Mazda carcasses and said, “Mazda is one of the best marbling of all the import bulls.” 127 is tested AA 6.

Kay Wagyu

Calves are hitting the ground at Pasche Ranch from the first group of red angus cows that were AI'd in January. AI bulls used were 30T from Bar R Cattle, Mayura L10 fom HP Wagyu, Kikumichi from Ranger Cattle, Shokaku 1322 from Baker Ranch. KR Front Line 115 from Kay Ranch was cleanup bull.

Sonogram results on 99 red angus AI'd In June, show 77 took to AI, 19 to the clean up bull, and only 3 open. Great results. AI bulls were 30T from Bar R, 626E from Rocking 711, Taiho from Baker Ranch, 711 Shigezuru 6492 from Rocking 711. Cleanup bull was 711 Shigezuru 635C.

Test 4 will begin in early December.
